Hey Side Hustler!
I am testing a new format this week. Instead of a deep dive on one particular business, I am going to grab 4-5 things that were interesting for me this week and offer my commentary.
I think this is more fun at times. I'll still do deep dives on interesting stuff, but this is how my brain works. I dip my toe into a lot of different things throughout the week.
First up, I love Julius's story of starting a pressure washing business. This is how most people start a business, and it's still inspiring to me. They saw a need and just did it. (click on the Tweet to see the thread)
Then he walks you through how to actually wash a house (slightly more complex than you think!)
And finally all the equipment you need to start one.
You won't find a more complete playbook than that folks. I'm not making a dime from this, I just think it's cool as hell that someone does this on the regular on X. Make sure you're following him for more.
Next up, a reminder that people are actually using my system to buy, own, and make great money with taxes.
Mason is doing it. The wild part: the car washes are in Ohio and he's in LA! We'll do a deep dive on his journey once he gets settled. If you're interested in doing what he's doing, it's all available at: TaxFreeCashCow.com
My thread on adult loneliness really hit home this week. It got almost 1M views and tons of amazing comments. If you're struggling to make friends as an adult, I feel you. I lay out a playbook to get (and reconnect with) a bunch of awesome friends in a short time here:
Vape vending? My friend Mitch posted this on vape vending machines in the UK. Are these legal here?
Someone is going to clean up installing these around college campuses.
Health stuff: the best way to lose weight and keep the weight off. (Reminder that my main business is national supplements and I spend most my time researching and creating health products.)
This one won't surprise many of you, but weight lifting and dieting are the best at helping lose fat, gain muscle and keep your gains (or losses as it were).
Something the article misses: this means that often the scale won't budge when you're using this method. If you're gaining muscle and losing fat, you might stay at the same weight. In fact I have been about 207 for about 6 years now. But my body makeup is radically different. I'm at about 13% body fat now and was at 25% before.
Finally, my neighbor has been getting an extensive security system installed. We live in a very nice neighborhood, but I have to admit the idea is tempting. And the fact that the contractor drives a great big shiny new truck has me interested in this business.
If you have some experience here I'd love to chat with you quickly. Next week I am going to do a deep dive on this business and need some real folks who know the biz.
Just reply to this if that's you.
